Courtney Weaver (2021-2022)

Mrs. Weaver was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2021-2022.

Wade Walling (2020-2021)

Mr. Wade Walling was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021.

Kevin Koch (2019-2020)

Mr. Kevin Koch was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020. Mr. Koch was also selected as the Mustang District Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020.  Kevin Koch has taught for 17 years, all of which have been here in Mustang.  During his first nine years, he taught 4th and 5th grade at Mustang Creek Elementary.  Mr. Koch joined the Canyon Ridge Intermediate faculty when the school was opened in 2013, where he currently teaches Technology.  

Keith Aynes (2018-2019)

Mr. Keith Aynes was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2018-2019. Keith Aynes has taught for 21 years, with this being his 17th year in Mustang Public School District.  He started teaching in a suburb of Fort Worth called Saginaw.  He taught in the Eagle Mountain- Saginaw Independent School District for 4 years.  He made the move back to Oklahoma in 2003 and began teaching at Mustang Creek Elementary in the Fall of 2003.  Mr. Aynes taught at Creek Elementary for 12 years.  In 2015 he made the move to Canyon Ridge and assumed his current teaching position as a math teacher. 

Sohailah Stout (2017-2018)

Sohailah Stout has taught for 22 years in five districts across Oklahoma, private and public, first through twelfth grades. Her choirs have performed from Disney World to Carnegie Hall, and she has taken student groups to 11 foreign countries on summer mission trips and as part of a leadership class that she taught for six years. Sohailah is also entering her twenty first year as a tour guide for student groups on the EasternSeaboard – from Williamsburg, VA, to Boston, MA, with a heavy emphasis on Washington D.C. Mrs. Stout has also been a Regional and State Co-chair for Circle the State with Song and OkMEA Children’s All State Chorus, as well as a guest conductor.  Sohailah loves her family, students, teaching and travel. She currently resides in Oklahoma City with her husband Steve. She enjoyed teaching at Canyon Ridge Intermediate during the first 5 years it was open. She took the opportunity to become the Vocal Music Director at MHS in 2018. 

Jessica Wilkes (2016-2017)

Ms. Jessica Wilkes was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017. She started teaching for Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Florida from 2007 through 2011. She then moved to Oklahoma to be closer to family and worked one year at Del Crest Middle School in Del City. She finally made her move to Mustang Schools in 2012 where she worked one year at Mustang Middle School before transferring to Canyon Ridge to help open it in 2013. After 11 years of teaching, she is taking a temporary leave of absence for her family.

Tiffany Massie (2015-2016)

Mrs. Tiffany Massie was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2015-2016. This is her 19th year of teaching. She started teaching for Cache Public Schools from 1998 through 2005. She taught in Mustang from 2005-2011 at Mustang Trails Elementary. After serving as the Assistive Technology Curriculum Specialist for the Oklahoma Assistive Technology Center through 2013, she returned to Mustang to teach at Mustang South Middle School.

Tom Wolfe (2014-2015)

Mr. Tom Wolfe was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2014-2015. He began teaching in 2008. He taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science and social studies at Mustang North Middle School. He came to Canyon Ridge in 2013. Since becoming a teacher, he has completed nearly 200 hours of professional development, such as OSSA, Explorology, and IMSTREMS. He was named the Explorology Teacher in the Field in 2011. Mr. Wolfe also has experience in trim carpentry and is an ordained minister. 

Jami Hasty (2013-2014)

Mrs. Jami Hasty was selected by the faculty and staff of Canyon Ridge Intermediate as the Teacher of the Year for 2013-2014.  She is beginning her 15th year of teaching special education this year, all of which have been in Mustang Public Schools. "I was extremely honored to be a part of the opening of Canyon Ridge. I can't imagine my life without my Canyon Ridge family or the phenomenal students I have taught and will get to teach in the future. They have blessed my life in more ways that I can count." Between sports, activities, school functions, church and everyday life, they stay very busy and are always on the go. As busy as they may be, Mrs. Hasty said, "I wouldn't trade my life for anything. God has placed me exactly where I am to be and I am forever grateful."
